Developed, moulded and cast a replacement for a laser-cut component with twelve welds, then machined the resulting two-flange part.
Cast the dandelion-leaf memorial at Esbjerg Cemetery, advising artist Kate Skjerning on tolerances, construction and surface treatment. Kirkens Korshær participated in the project.
Cast the 650 kg Max Bæklund statue installed at Forum in Frederiksberg. The project combined 3D scanning, modelling and sand printing with modelmaker Joakim Zacho Weylandt, sculptor Thomas Foldberg and Ingholt Consult.
Hornung & Møller
Collaboration begun in September 2025 remelts old piano frames and casts redesigned frames for new Hornung & Møller grand pianos, with 2D/3D design and pattern development.
Landia
Replaced a welded wastewater and biogas pump-intake component with an iron casting. Landia describes better geometry, lower cost and fewer leak concerns, following decades of grey and nodular iron component supply for pumps and mixers.

SMS.W.II./80983/D.0, issued 29 September 2023, stated expiry 3 October 2027. SG 400–700 and grey lamellar iron 200–300 at Uldall Vejen. Products require individual or batch certification under NR320; periodic follow-up every second year.
Lloyd’s Register iron-casting manufacturer approval
LR2644065WA, issued 3 July 2025, expiry 2 July 2028, Søndergade 93, Vejen. Appendix covers grey and spheroidal graphite iron castings, each maximum 2.50 tonnes. Subject to applicable manufacture, testing and certification rules.
ABS foundry approval
FDRY-T2226102, issued 16 December 2021, stated expiry 4 December 2026. Uldalls Jernstøberi A/S, Søndergade 93, Vejen; marine cast-iron components under approval letter T2226102 and ABS requirements. Scanned copy shows first and second annual endorsements in January 2023 and January 2024; later endorsements and the approval-letter detail were not available, so current standing is unresolved.
Uldall is an iron foundry in Vejen producing customer-designed castings, prototypes and small series. It works with grey, nodular and specialist iron alloys for pumps, machinery, energy equipment, food-production equipment and other industrial applications. Design and pattern support, casting, inspection and finishing can be coordinated into assembly-ready supply; machining and several coating processes use external or BIRN-group partners. The business traces its origins to 1944 and has been part of BIRN since 2002.
