Windlab / Eurus Energy
Windlab and Eurus Energy’s Queensland project combines 43.2 MW of wind, 15 MW of solar and 2 MW/4 MWh of storage. Vestas provided assessment, integration and control work, EPC with Quanta, and a 15-year AOM 4000 service scope.
A Greek 24 MW wind plant received 1 MW of solar in 2012. Vestas provided resource and site consulting, integration and unified SCADA control.
Battery storage was integrated into a 12 MW wind plant in 2012. Vestas provided planning, sizing, integration and control strategies. Historical grid-services approval relates to this project.
ENGIE Deutschland
Upgraded 24 ENGIE V90-2.0 MW turbines across five German sites in 2016 with aerodynamic add-ons.
Borescope inspection found a broken tooth in an anonymous renewable-energy customer’s gearbox. Vestas reports replacing the low-speed shaft on the turbine after compatibility assessment, avoiding complete gearbox replacement.
Regular maintenance revealed blade cracks on an anonymous German customer’s non-Vestas turbines. The blades were repaired uptower.

DNV-certified refurbishment process for Vestas wind turbines.
Vestas designs, manufactures, installs and services wind turbines and wind-power plants. Its current new-turbine catalogue comprises the EnVentus, 4 MW and 2 MW onshore platforms and the V236-15.0 MW offshore turbine. The group also provides plant engineering, project development, multibrand maintenance, component repair, digital fleet tools and refurbished-turbine solutions. Headquarters are in Aarhus; delivery and service are organised through a global group and partner network. An ArcelorMittal low-emission steel option applies to onshore towers and upper offshore tower sections. Separately, CETEC blade-circularity technology is being scaled with Stena Recycling toward commercial chemical disassembly of epoxy blades.
