In 2022, the German team removed approximately 1,200 m² of contaminated coating from the Bittenbrunn weir for Braun Maschinenfabrik. Contained blasting, cleaning and laboratory clearance preceded recoating.
California Department of Transportation
Certified Coatings Company steam-cleaned, spot-blasted and repainted the Rio Vista bridge in California for the California Department of Transportation, from February 2018 to April 2020. Scaffold access and containment accommodated road traffic and the moving lift span. The 2,500 ft bridge has 208 ft lift towers; the project covered 194,000 sq ft of surface and finished below budget and ahead of schedule.
