LINAK
Automated coil deep drawing, punching and finishing for LINAK motor enclosures expanded with a second line and material-use improvements. Project calculations give 99 tonnes less material annually and 5.34% lower CO₂ per component.
CERN
Mekoprint developed and supplied thousands of shields for research equipment. Replacing the proposed bent foil with micro-milled aluminium allowed closed shielding geometry; prototype support and scheduled production deliveries are described.
Necas (EMS collaboration for a shared unnamed end customer)
Mekoprint and EMS partner Necas developed 3D-printed trays for two 0.3 mm shielding components supplied for a shared, unnamed end customer. Necas reports up to 90% less subsequent inspection/rework time; the result belongs to this project.
Firstkind
Double-sided, three-layer printed electrode foils are supplied on rolls for Firstkind’s further processing. Annual production was up to 500,000 sensors at the article’s publication in July 2024. Firstkind supplies the finished medical and sports devices.
Abena
Mekoprint co-developed and industrialized carbon-printed, laser-cut sensors on soft non-woven material using automated roll-to-roll production. Abena supplies the incontinence product and MediSens Wireless the cloud solution; Mekoprint supplies the sensor.
InviSense
Mekoprint produces the thin sensor using etched copper foil, silver circuit printing, lacquer, transfer tape and final punching. The ready-to-apply items support InviSense’s building-moisture measurement solution.
Kemppi
Mekoprint consolidated more than 200 keypad, overlay and label items, aligning materials, colours, drawings and specifications and arranging stock replenishment. The case covers membrane and silicone interfaces.
Grundfos
Mekoprint developed automated screen printing, adhesive application, embossing and die-cutting for pump overlays. Delivery on rolls supports automatic assembly at Grundfos’s Thailand production site; Mekoprint does not manufacture the pump.
