Koatek supplies precision components from Jægerspris, combining CNC turning and milling with laser cutting, welding and engraving, wire EDM, measurement and assembly. It serves life-science, medical, dental, electronics, aerospace, food and energy applications. Production support can begin with drawings and manufacturing advice and continue through prototypes, series production, deburring, washing, finishing and microscope-assisted assembly. The company works with conventional materials and selected demanding materials such as titanium, Monel, Inconel, tungsten and ceramics; suitability depends on the operation. Equipment also includes 3D printing alongside machining and metrology. Surface-treatment subcontractors support the wider component-supply route. Customer-specific stock agreements can set minimum and maximum quantities in automated storage, with retained production drawings for repeat orders. Inspection plans, first-article checks and measurement reports can be agreed. Packaging arrangements can include reusable boxes and return agreements. Knud Olsen founded the business in Jægerspris in 1969; it adopted the Koatek name in 2000. Koatek entered a majority-ownership partnership with Mentha in March 2026, with management continuing as co-owners. A new ventilation system was installed in 2024, and onsite solar generation supplied 14% of electricity consumption that year.
