Bag-filter model limits

EF2: up to 12 m³/h, 6 bar, 35°C, pH 1–13. EFG5: up to 22 m³/h, 6 bar, 100°C, pH 1–13. EFG7: up to 22 m³/h, 16 bar, 100°C, pH 7–13. EFG8: up to 22 m³/h, 6 bar, 100°C, pH 7–13. The combined EF5/EFG5 table conflicts with the prose limiting EF filters to cold water; EF5 temperature capability is therefore withheld. Confirm fluid and material compatibility.

Mixed-bed conditions

Regenerable mixed bed: below 0.1 µS/cm at 10 °C with low-CO2 demineralised feed, up to 50 m³/h by module. SILEX/EUREX: below 0.2 µS/cm with off-site regeneration; select against feed and ion load.

Softener family capacities

Published family maxima: SM/SG 4.1 m³/h; SMPG hot-water systems 30 m³/h; SMH/SMP cold-water systems 60 m³/h; STFA 140 m³/h. Cold/hot temperature limits are 35°C/85°C only where supported by the chosen configuration.

UV flow conditions and validation

Published large Spektron e range: 1–6,000 m³/h at 98% UVT10. ME range: 1–100 m³/h at 86% UVT10. These are distinct series conditions. Selection requires actual UV transmission and the required validated dose; the catalogue includes certified and uncertified models.

Pressure-filter family capacities

NS/NSB families: up to 12 m³/h; TF/TFB: up to 100 m³/h. Steel or 316L vessels and application-specific coatings/media are selected for the raw water and process.

Reverse-osmosis quality and recovery targets

Published targets are below 15 µS/cm for single-pass and below 5 µS/cm for double-pass systems; RO-PLUS recovery can reach 90% for suitable feed and design. These are application-dependent targets, not guaranteed output for arbitrary raw water.

Membrane-system construction and control

RO systems use factory-tested skids, stainless high-pressure piping and configured inlet/outlet materials. SE30 controls and optional SE40 logging are described. EDI polishes RO permeate with electrical resin regeneration and conductivity/flow monitoring; conflicting EDI capacity statements prevent a single range limit.

Gas-removal design choices

CO2 stripping towers use countercurrent air and polypropylene packing. Membrane degassing can use sweep gas and vacuum; the stated oxygen target below 20 ppb depends on vacuum plus nitrogen, while the CO2 target below 5 ppm applies to the specified design.

Thermal deaerator series

TA spray and TD dome/cascade systems span twelve modules up to 40 m³/h with tanks from 1,450 to 23,150 litres. Published oxygen targets are 50 ppb for TA and 20 ppb for TD under the selected process conditions. Pumps, supports and interconnecting piping are excluded from the described standard scope. TD dome material: 304L stainless steel.

Company history

SILHORKO began water-treatment production in 1936 and joined Grundfos in autumn 2020; the current Danish legal name continues the SILHORKO-EUROWATER business.

Activated-carbon filter family capacities

ACM up to 2.2 m³/h and ACH up to 7.4 m³/h; larger stainless-steel and hot-water sanitation designs are configured separately. Carbon and contact time are selected for the contaminants and feed water.

Bag-filter media selection

Nominal or absolute bags from 1 to 800 µm; oil-separation bags from 10 to 100 µm. Magnetic inserts, pumps and skid configurations are optional.

SILEX and EUREX unit flow capacities

SILEX cartridges up to 300 l/h; SILEX vessels up to 420 l/h; EUREX vessels up to 28,000 l/h. Unit selection depends on feed-water ion load and the required regeneration interval.

Decarbonisation configuration

DCM/DCMH/DCMP systems up to 14 m³/h, with one or two vessels, PLC control and PPA-coated steel; hygienic stainless-steel options are available.

Ion-exchange demineraliser construction

DME, DMS, DMHE, DMCE and UPCORE configurations use two-column cation/anion treatment. PVC piping is standard, with PP/PVDF options; an application example uses IR-welded PP-H. DMCE conductivity differs between the table (2–5 µS/cm) and prose (1–5 µS/cm), so no single guaranteed range is stated.

RO B1 family flow

0.4–2.4 m³/h by configuration.

Nanofiltration operating-pressure comparison

Typically below 7 bar, compared with the page’s indicative 12–16 bar for RO; these are process comparisons, not pressure ratings for every model.

CO2 stripping-tower series

Up to 70 m³/h, using polypropylene packing, countercurrent air, reservoir, level controls and blower.

Vacuum deaerator configuration

Six modules up to 22 m³/h for feed at 40–90°C; a compact skid is rated at 1 m³/h. Galvanised or AISI 304 tank, liquid-ring vacuum pump and circulation pump; below 0.2 mg/l oxygen is a design-dependent target.

EDI construction and capacity conflict

PVC piping with three-way quality-flush/circulation valve, Signet conductivity measurement, flow monitoring and AISI 304 frame; optional PLC with alarms and IR-welded PP piping. The same page describes standard capacities up to both 18 and 60 m³/h and custom capacity up to 60 m³/h; standard-series scope remains unresolved.

CU:RO compact system capacity

1–5 membranes with output from 0.4 to 2 m³/h by configuration; SE30 PLC with 4–20 mA output.
