Liner and discharge-system redesign for a Southeast Asian copper and gold mine’s 34 ft SAG mill. The replacement reduced component count from 187 to 136 and liner weight from 191,962 to 106,130 kg. Service life increased from 12 to 15 months; 18 months remained a wear-based projection.
Sahakol Equipment Public Company Limited
Engineering and delivery of twelve conveyors for the Mae Moh Phase 8 project in Thailand. The system spans 12.6 km, with 2.2 m and 2.6 m belt widths and rated capacities of 17,500 and 27,600 t/h. Work with Siemens, Chiefnew and local installer VTEC brought operation forward to 1 March 2018.
Martabe Mine
A LUDODECK P2 panel modification combined thicker base panels with replaceable steel-backed rubber wear pads, producing an 86 mm assembly. Seven-week inspections supported a projected 16-week campaign; the source does not establish a completed 16-week trial.
TÜMAD Mining Industry and Trade
Supply of an apron feeder, jaw and cone crushers, screens and an F3200-W HPGR, with erection, commissioning and training support. The HPGR design uses 2.2 m diameter × 1.5 m rolls, 4,000 kW installed power and 1,139 t/h fresh-feed capacity for a minus-6 mm screen-underflow product.
Multivariable control stabilised feeder-bin inventory and adjusted roll operation. The project comparison measured approximately 21% higher throughput, a 17.5% rise in comminution power and 4.9% lower circulating load.
Kao diamond mine
Installation of a KREBS millMAX 8×6 pump in cyclone-feed duty increased wet-end wear life ninefold relative to the previous pump in this application. A subsequent slurryMAX trial addressed gland leakage and led to further pump orders.
Engineering, manufacture and installation of a fabricated ring gear for a Chilean mine. The replacement combined structural steel with a forged ring and was commissioned one day ahead of the agreed schedule.
Fosterville Gold mine
Ceramic-lined cyclone assemblies reduced wear and recirculating load, enabling conversion to smaller KREBS millMAX 10×8-24 pumps. The project achieved savings above 40% across mill-pump operations.
Sukari Gold Mine
Bottom-shell replacement and component upgrades for a 1400 × 2100 TS gyratory crusher, with specialist lifting tools, maintenance stands and onsite training. The shutdown finished 38 hours ahead of its eleven-day target with no safety incidents.
E-DUC dilution and an E-Volute feedwell first improved a 34 m leach-feed thickener and reduced flocculant use by 34%. A later project exchanged the duties of the 34 m and 44 m thickeners and added P-DUC systems. That stage increased throughput from 1,060 to 1,160 t/h and reduced water sent to tailings per tonne of solids by 11%.
