Connect Codex to the Tradebird MCP server.

Set the endpoint:

export TRADEBIRD_MCP_URL="https://api.tradebird.ai/mcp"

Add Tradebird to ~/.codex/config.toml:

[mcp_servers.tradebird]
url = "https://api.tradebird.ai/mcp"

For a token-protected endpoint, keep the token in an environment variable:

[mcp_servers.tradebird]
url = "https://api.tradebird.ai/mcp"
bearer_token_env_var = "TRADEBIRD_MCP_TOKEN"

In Codex CLI, open the MCP panel:

/mcp

Try a prompt:

Use Tradebird to find robot cell integrators for small factories and summarize the best supplier fits.

Claude Desktop
